Welcome to UltraPak, the friendly packet radio terminal program.

To install UltraPak, insert the floppy disc into drive A and select "Run" 
from the File menu in Program Manager.  Type "A:\SETUP" and press Enter.

You should now see the UltraPak icon in the UltraPak program group.
You can run UltraPak by double-clicking on the icon.

IMPORTANT !  UltraPak needs to be able to monitor the DCD (Data Carrier
Detect) line from the TNC to determine whether the TNC is in a connected
state or not.  You must connect the appropriate pins from the TNC to the
PC (pin 8 on a 25-pin "D" connector) or UltraPak WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY !

For details of how to register UltraPak, read REGISTER.TXT or REGISTER.WRI.  
The file LICENCE.TXT contains details of the licence agreement for UltraPak.

Note that the demo version distributed for evaluation purposes is fully 
functional in all respects, but will time-out after approximately 30 
minutes.
